How does money matter to you? We want to know.
We want you! We want you to tell us what you think about money. We want you to tell us how your financial situation makes you feel. We want to know, when it comes to money, what easy and what’s hard because we know: money matters.
It dictates where we go and what we can do. How and where we live. What luxuries we can enjoy and what choices we can make. Money can make life easier or it can make life much harder—whether you have a lot of it or not. In a lot of ways, it’s the thread that ties society together. It’s what, in so many ways, binds us but also what can tear us apart.
What we want to know
At Money101, we want to discover exactly how everyday Australians handle their money. What they find difficult, what the major pain points are, and how this effects their wellbeing. With this information we feel we can better tailor our products and find better ways to enhance people’s financial wellbeing. That’s why we’ve launched the 2018 Money Matters Personal Finance survey. It takes about five minutes to complete and covers a broad range of personal budgeting areas.
Yes, there are a lot of consumer studies out there already but none cover exactly what we want to know. Specifically, what does the changing shape of the everyday Australian’s budget look like. How do people manage their money? Where do they have the most difficulty? And how does this carry over into other aspects of their lives. A big part of budgeting is also prioritising, and we want to know exactly how everyday Australians do it.
For our clients
The survey results will be published and made publicly available. This information will be really useful for promoting your modules and working out just where your users are feeling the most financial strain. It’ll provide a unique snapshot and perspective of how we budget and where our money goes.
For our respondents
This is a great way to think about your personal finances and isolate just where you feel the pinch the most. Your participation will also help other Australians realise they’re not alone. Plus, we’re giving away 20 Woolies Wish gift cards to 20 lucky respondents in a random draw in October.
